Mission of the Committee

The Cox Young Alumni Committee is a select group of SMU Cox graduates dedicated to strengthening connections between the college and its recent alumni community. Composed of alums from 22 to 35, the Committee works closely with the SMU Alumni Association and Cox leadership to support graduates as they transition from campus to career and deepen their long‑term relationship with the Cox School of Business.

The Committee focuses on fostering meaningful engagement through mentorship, professional development initiatives, industry‑focused programming, and targeted networking opportunities. By serving as a bridge between current students, young alumni, and established Cox alumni leaders, the Committee helps reinforce a culture of collaboration, integrity, and leadership that defines SMU Cox.

Through thoughtful programming and ambassador‑level involvement, the Cox Young Alumni Committee plays a key role in cultivating an engaged alumni base that supports individual career growth while advancing the mission, values, and reputation of the SMU Cox School of Business.
